UofM

As a student at the UofM I took a very eclectic mix of classes (sort of a renaissance man), and would decide what to take each quarter by walking down hallways on first day and measuring professors by their enthusiasm….  I worked for the University Computer Center, and later the Lunar Sample Analysis Lab, as a research assistant, and pursued too many projects to mention. Here I am working on a program and hardware I built for the Lunar Sample Analysis lab to control a Mass Spectrometer. Wish I still had that 60/40 jacket.

The grains of moon rock came in nifty little stainless steel and teflon containers, and were kept in a secure safe bolted to the floor…
